    A geographer specialising in climate change strategies and adaptation projects in developing countries, Vanessa Laubin has worked for GERES then as an independent consultant. Treasurer of the Climate Chance Association since its creation, she took over as Director in 2018.

  • Florence Lechat-Tarery

    Responsible for Administration and Finance

    After gaining 16 years international experience in financial roles in the private sector and within NGOs such as Plan International and Aide et Action, Florence Léchat-Tarery has focused her energy on the environmental and climate change issues for several years by strongly committing at the local level and by being an "ecological transition designer." She joined Climate Chance in November 2017.

  • Romain CROUZET

    International negotiations expert principally relating to climate change issues. International relations and environmental analyst for the State of Minas Gerais in Brasil, then co- founder of a sustainable development consulting firm in Brasil. He joined Climate Chance in order to increase his involvement in subjects linked to climate change action by non - state actors.

  • Leila YASSINE

    Program Coordinator Africa

    A graduate from the KU Leuven, Leila started with Greenpeace Lebanon as an activist on waste management and toxic waste in North Lebanon, as well as on awareness campaigns on climate change in Lebanese universities. After working for CAN International as an Executive Assistant, she joined Climate Chance in May 2018 in order to reinforce the association’s role in Africa and their work with African non-state actors.

  • Bérengère BATIOT

    Responsible for Communications and Public Relations

    Bérengère Batiot has spent 10 years in the socio- cultural sector, occupying several responsible posts within adult education and culture. A trained lawyer, she worked in the Town Hall legal department, then as a parliamentary attaché before taking on her role at Climate Chance in November 2017.

  • Amaury PARELLE

    Policy Officer

    Amaury is a graduate in international development of the Lille Institute of Political Studies and in Environmental Economy from the University of Alpes - Grenoble. After gaining experience by working, in France within the United Cities Network France and in Asia as Research Assistant in India as the officer in charge of French scientific cooperation in the Philippines, he joined the Climate Chance team to help with the coordination and work of the Climate Chance Observatory.

  • Veronica Velasquez

    Policy Officer

    A sociologist and trained demographer, Veronica gained her early experience in the waste and circular economy sectors. After an enriching experience during COP21 she devoted herself entirely to international negotiations on climate change and on the common challenges between climate change and development. She joined Climate Chance in November 2017.

  • Coline Desplantes

    Program assistant

    After completing a degree in geography, Coline undertook a master's degree in sustainable land management, culminating in an internship at the Climate Chance Association. Today, she is doing an apprenticeship, its mission responds to a partnership with the SAZ to determine a sustainable urban development strategy on the African continent.
