EU Green Week Partner Event

Brussels, Online

On the 6th June, Climate Chance organises an online side-event during the EU Green Week.

Cooperation to adapt to climate change at local level: What levers and what impacts?

Climate change adaptation is increasingly financed and present in local actors’ strategies but measuring its impacts is difficult. How is cooperation a lever for successful adaptation for cities and regions? How can the impacts of this cooperation and adaptation strategies be measured in Europe?

Following the event at the Assises in Bordeaux in May 2023, European regions and cities have shown how the geopolitical and energy crisis has impacted their short and long term resilience. In this webinar, Climate Chance invites regions and cities to share insights on the role of multi-stakeholder cooperation and the importance of evaluation and monitoring of adaptation strategies.

The objectives of this webinar are:

➡️ To show how cooperation is a lever for successful adaptation to climate change for cities and regions ;

➡️ To discuss tools and means to measure the impacts of cooperation and adaptation strategies in Europe.
