The Climate Chance Summit – Africa has been postponed

The 2020 Edition of our Climate Chance Summit Africa that was planned to take place in Kigali, Rwanda, in September, has been postponed like many other events as a result of the sanitary crisis linked to Covid-19. We are currently aiming, if conditions are in our favour, to organise a 2021 Edition of our Summit in Africa. Stay tuned to be informed on news. In the meantime, we are working with our partners on the organization of virtual events, meetings, webinars … for the second half of 2020.

Preparing for the Climate Chance Summit

During the World Urban Forum in Abu Dhabi (8-13 February), Climate Chance along with ICLEI Africa and the Rwanda Association of Local Government Authorities (RALGA) confirmed that the next Climate Chance Summit – Africa will be hosted by the City of Kigali from the 14-16th September 2020.

The #ClimateChanceSummitAfrica 2020 will be in partnership with ICLEI Africa who will organise alongside the Local Climate Solutions for Africa Congress « LoCS4Africa » 2020 event.
