Organised under the aegis of France and Gabon, the One Forest Summit aims to protect ecosystems – primary forests, peatlands, mangroves, etc. – that are vital reserves of carbon and biodiversity. – which are vital reserves of carbon and biodiversity. It gathers a great diversity of actors: heads of States and governments, leaders of international organisations, financial institutions, private sector, international NGOs, think tanks and research centers, indigenous people’s organisations and civil society

The One Forest Summit will be an opportunity to move forward and renew the collective ambition to preserve and sustainably manage forests, which are essential to address interrelated global challenges, including climate change and biodiversity loss.
