14th National Conference on Biodiversity
idealCO and the Association des Eco Maires are organising the 14th National Conference on Biodiversity from the 18th to 20th September 2024 in La Rochelle, on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean.
The 2024 theme: Nature, the keystone of humanity
The event will explore the way in which humans interact with the living world through 3 themes: the resilience of nature, the protection of nature and, the restoration and renaturation actions.
The programme will include plenary sessions, workshops, discussions and feedback, enabling you to discover the richness of a region and the latest advances in biodiversity protection. At the same time, the meeting area will be set up to host the stands of our institutional partners and associations, offering discussions and activities for conference delegates and the general public invited to the event. It’s an opportunity for those curious to find out how local authorities, private individuals and associations are working to improve the place of nature in their daily lives! The ANB is hosting the 8th Assises Nationales des Espaces Naturels Sensibles (ANENS), organised in partnership with Départements de France, the Association du Réseau Technique Interdépartemental pour la Nature (ARTEINA) and the Département de la Charente Maritime.
