On May 11 and 12, 2026, Nairobi will host the Africa Forward Summit 2026, a joint initiative by France and Kenya led by Presidents Emmanuel Macron and William Ruto.
Designed as a high-level strategic gathering, the summit aims to drive a new phase of cooperation between Africa and France — more ambitious, more innovative, and firmly action-oriented.
Over two days, Heads of State and Government, international institutions, business leaders, investors, entrepreneurs, youth representatives and civil society actors will come together to turn shared priorities into concrete outcomes and long-term partnerships.
Key discussions will focus on:
-
Mobilizing sustainable finance and reforming the international financial architecture
-
Energy transition and green industrialization
-
The development of the blue economy and strategic infrastructure
-
Digital transformation and artificial intelligence
-
Sustainable agriculture, food security, and health
The summit will open with a dedicated Business Forum, showcasing investment opportunities, high-impact initiatives, and successful Africa–France collaborations.
More than a dialogue platform, Africa Forward 2026 is designed to generate momentum, foster innovation, and strengthen strategic partnerships in support of sustainable and inclusive growth.
