The European Energy Transition Conference has been the unmissable annual gathering for stakeholders in territorial energy transition since 1999. Organized with the support of partner metropolitan areas (including Dijon Métropole, co-organizer of the 2026 edition), this flagship event brings together local authorities, experts, companies, associations, researchers, and professionals in a rich and diverse program designed to inspire and accelerate collective action.

Over three full days, participants can exchange ideas, challenge perspectives, and co-develop concrete solutions to address current energy challenges. The program includes plenary sessions, conferences, thematic workshops, masterclasses, media training, and site visits, offering a combination of experience sharing, scientific input, and strategic networking.

The conference is also conceived as a space for inspiration and cooperation, where more than 3,500 committed actors collectively explore pathways toward decarbonization, territorial resilience, energy efficiency, and innovations for a just and sustainable energy transition.
