Gender and Climate Justice: Critical issues and awareness raising tools
The workshop will encourage the exchange among different actors from various European countries with interested organisations and people based in France, with analyses, educational approaches, and advocacy on the intersections between gender, feminist approaches, the climate crisis and ecological transition.
Organised by Adéquations (with the support of the Feminists for Climate-Environment Alternatives Programme) and WIDE Austria, this workshop on 22 May will present the issues and products of the European programme ‘Gender and climate justice: Critical issues and awareness raising tools’. This programme is coordinated by the WIDE+ European network and supported by the European Union (Erasmus).
The workshop on 22 May 2024 will focus on climate justice issues such as extractivism, and will encourage exchanges between actors interested in analyses, educational approaches and advocacy on the intersections between gender, feminist approaches, climate and ecological transition.
Interested associations and institutions are invited to submit any publications, research, educational tools, campaigns and projects relating to these issues.
