European Climate Change Adaptation Conference (ECCA2025)

The 7th biennial European Conference on Climate Change Adaptation (ECCA2025) will take place from 16 to 18 June 2025 in Rimini, Italy.
ECCA2025 is a unique gathering of adaptation expertise from an exceptional network of practitioners, governments, researchers, and stakeholders. The conference serves as a dynamic platform for sharing experiences and practical tools, exchanging perspectives, and fostering collaboration toward smarter, faster, and more systemic adaptation in Europe.
This event is organized by the MAGICA project, funded by the Horizon EU program, in partnership with the CMCC (Euro-Mediterranean Center on Climate Change Foundation) and JPI Climate. The conference is structured around the following themes:
- Living with climate extremes
- Managing cities to be fit for the future
- Protecting coastal and mountain areas
- Human and legal dimensions of change
- Adaptation finance: reducing communities’ economic or social vulnerabilities
Ronan Dantec, President of Climate Chance, will speak at the event on June 16th during the “Adaptation on the Ground” roundtable at the opening plenary session, alongside key actors from European local governments.
