European Urban Resilience Forum 2025 (EURESFO2025)

Since 2013, EURESFO has served as a unique exchange platform for city representatives, experts, and stakeholders from local and regional institutions, enabling them to plan strategies, initiatives, and actions for climate change adaptation, disaster management, and strengthening urban resilience. This European initiative is organized by ICLEI Europe and the European Environment Agency.

This year’s edition is built around the theme “Accelerating Action for Resilience” and will focus on the following key issues:

• Justice, inclusion and societal resilience
• New extremes and polycrises: from heatwaves to water resilience
• Exploring nature-based solutions: from policy to action
• Finance and investment strategies for resilience-building
• Resilience governance in a polarised political landscape
• Data, information and evidence-based resilience action
