Bordeaux Métropole and Climate Chance are co-organising a day of dialogue and knowledge-sharing aimed at strengthening ties between the metropolitan area and the African continents. This event will bring together stakeholders engaged in international cooperation to highlight the diversity of projects and initiatives that connect the Metropole with the African continent.
The meeting will showcase collaborative initiatives led by local civil society, cultural, economic, institutional, and academic actors. It will also aim to foster new synergies across sectors and to reinforce existing partnerships.
Discussions will focus on key topics such as partnership diversification, cooperation grounded in human rights, urban and ecological transitions, and biodiversity conservation in Africa.
Climate Chance will lead the afternoon sessions, addressing key themes including:
