Climate Chance, CODATU, and AMUGA strengthen partnerships in Abidjan to prepare for CIMDC 2026.
In preparation for the International Sustainable Mobility and Climate Conference (CIMDC 2026), jointly organized by CODATU, AMUGA (Urban Mobility Authority of Greater Abidjan), and Climate Chance, a mission took place in Abidjan from December 10 to 12, 2025, to strengthen partnerships and advance the organization of this major event, scheduled for October 19–22, 2026.
Climate Chance was represented by its Director General, Vaia Tuuhia. During this mission, the teams met with local authorities and partners to coordinate the conference preparation, validate the main program and thematic sessions, identify key partners and stakeholders to support the event’s success, and reinforce Franco-Ivorian cooperation on sustainable mobility and climate issues.
This mission marks a strategic step in preparing CIMDC 2026, bringing together experts, decision-makers, and local institutions around a common goal: accelerating the implementation of sustainable mobility solutions in Africa and enhancing their climate impact.
