#UNOC3: Advocacy to strengthen cooperation between Europe and Africa on adapting to climate change

The Marseille Declaration calling for greater cooperation and solidarity between Africa and Europe in adapting to climate change was mentioned at the Third United Nations Ocean Conference (UNOC3) by Christine Juste, Deputy Mayor of Marseille in charge of the environment.

She spoke at the side-event on 11 June 2025: “Localizing SDG 14: Strengthening Multi-Level Governance for Sustainable Ocean” organised by United Cities and Local Governments (UCLG), ICLEI, OECD, Regions4, Global Fund For Cities Development (FMDV).
