Climate Chance at the International Economic Days of Communes JEICOM in Cameroon

The Jeicom23 will be organised from 01 to 03 June 2023 at the Yaoundé Conference Centre by the United Towns and Cities of Cameroon, the umbrella organisation of local governments which brings together 360 communes and 14 urban communities.

For this 2023 edition, JEICOM aims to promote the harmonious and inclusive development of local governments and cities, taking advantage of international cooperation and initiating development projects in sectors as varied as agriculture, agro-industry, livestock, fish farming, ecotourism, engineering and wood processing, as well as the implementation of social and solidarity economy projects in all the country’s municipalities.

In the framework of JEICOM 2023, Romain Crouzet, Managing Director of Climate Chance, will participate in the sessions on decentralised cooperation and innovative financing and partnerships for forest carbon.
