COP28 • Yaounde Roadmap for Sustainable Habitats in Africa

Following the Climate Chance Conference Africa 2023 (Yaounde, Cameroon), Climate Chance and its partners are taking the messages of African non-state actors in sustainable habitats to COP28 in Dubai. These messages will also be taken to the 12th World Urban Forum in 2024.

“Towards the convergence of the three international agendas to encourage sustainable and inclusive habitats in Africa : Feedback on the Climate Chance Conference Africa 2023”

This event aims to highlight the Yaounde Roadmap resulting from the Climate Chance Confrence Africa 2023, by outlining the priorities of African non-state actors to accelerate the implementation of climate action in habitat-related sectors. It also stresses the importance of breaking down silos between actors and working collectively to bring the three UN environmental conventions into line.
