Side event on the Senegalese Pavilion at COP 27

Sharm-el-Sheikh, Egypt

Climate Chance organised a side event on Senegalese Pavilion to highlight the advances of the Week for Sustainable Mobility and Climate, including the Declaration of the Climate Chance Summit Africa 2022, and the agreement between BOAD and Climate Chance for the Observatory of Climate Action in Africa.

Side event: “.African non-state actors mobilised for the climat! A look back on progress made since the Week for Sustainable Mobility and Climate 2022”

This event aims to highlight the progress of the Sustainable Mobility and Climate Week, including the Declaration of the Climate Chance Summit Africa 2022, and the agreement between the West African Development Bank (BOAD) and Climate Chance.

Climate Chance invited spokespersons, witnesses of the Dakar gathering, to illustrate the major priorities carried by the African non-state community. As BOAD (West African Development Bank) is an actor present at the Summit, the event will highlight the BOAD-Climate Chance Agreement that was concluded during the mobilization, an important deliverable for the continuation of improved data access for African actors.

⏰Thursday 17th November from 10:30 to 11:30 (UTC +2 Cairo time)
