“COP CHEZ NOUS 2023” Restitution

Description:

The Green Youth Association of Cameroon is bringing together around sixty young and women leaders on 19 and 20 October 2023 in Yaoundé, at the Institut Français du Cameroun, for a key event linked to the international climate negotiations called COP CHEZ NOUS. This event will provide an opportunity to take stock of several key strategic events linked to the climate negotiations, and will enable the young leaders who are members of AJVC – REJEFAC to share the results of the key events organised, in particular the regional workshop held in Bujumbura from 2 to 5 October 2023, a workshop for consultation, validation of advocacy documents and preparation of REJEFAC’s contribution to the Summit of the 3 Tropical Forest Basins of the World (Congo, Amazonia and Borneo Mekong) to be held from 26 to 28 October in Congo Brazzaville.

The aim of this session is to present the results of COP CHEZ NOUS 2023 and the main advocacy messages drawn up by young people from Central Africa and Cameroon in preparation for the Summit of the three basins and COP28.
