Autosuffisance alimentaire, stabilisation du climat et protection de l’environnement

This project aims to contribute to the stabilization of the climate by planting, maintaining and protecting 10,000 trees in 20 years.

Overview of the project

In the area of food security, it trains 600 households annually in cereal production and 200 households in market gardening.
It guides and trains 45,000 people to develop water supply points such as wells, springs and mini gravity-fed water supply networks.
It conducts activities with a view to rehabilitating the Mitwaba hydroelectric power station 450 km north of the city of Lubumbashi;
It has a park for reforestation and protection of natural trees of 5000 shrubs.

The NGO Action Contre la Pauvreté is based in Lubumbashi in the province of Haut-Katanga in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
