The NGO ADET has selected a plot of land in Avetonou, Togo for this important project to empower women and youth through the production of plantains.

Quantitative results

The project aims to produce tons of plantains for the business activities of the site’s women and girls in order to introduce a “blockchain” system, while enabling the creation of jobs for women and young people.

Qualitative results

The project concerns Togo, Benin, Burkina Faso, Niger, Mali and other ECOWAS (Economic Community of West African States) countries with the goal to achieve the SDG objectives by 2030.
