Climate Chance organised a series of Talks in the first week of December to highlight the main lessons of its Sector-based Report.
In Climate Chance Talk #3 on the land use sector, our speakers shared their observations and some key points.
Marie-Ange Kalenga also spoke about the impacts of the Covid crisis on forests, especially in Central Africa, and she highlighted on the importance of participatory, community approaches to forestry. While nature-based approaches and conservation spaces are important, they must be inclusive, and not a monopolisation of forests.
Florence Palla, insisted on the alignment of programmes relating to climate, biodiversity and desertification.
