Overview of the project

As part of CoMSSA, PADIE is supporting the prefectures of Kloto and Tchaoudjo in monitoring their climate-energy plans (PAAEDC), by means of a monitoring dashboard and governance charters encouraging inter-municipal cooperation and the creation of local technical units.

Setting up a governance framework and appropriate tools for effective management of the Kloto and Tchaoudjo PAAEDCs.

Quantitative results

Drawing up two dashboards to monitor the implementation and progress of PAAEDC actions in the communities of Kloto and Tchaoudjo.

Qualitative results

Drafting and validation of two PAAEDC monitoring charters for Kloto and Tchaoudjo, incorporating monitoring and evaluation structures, mechanisms and tools, signed by all the communes in the two prefectures.

Financing

Covenant of Mayors for Sub-Saharan Africa (CoMSSA), the European Union, international cooperation agencies including GIZ, AECID, AFD and Expertise France.
