Climate Chance at the EU Green Week
During the EU Green Week, the Climate Chance Observatory will present results from its 2021 Local Action Report, especially regarding the measurement and tracking of emissions datas by local governments.
Six years after COP 21, the Glasgow conference (next november) will aim to take stock of actions to limit global warming to 2°C and 1.5°C.
Based on the results of its Local Action Report, published at the beginning of April, the Climate Chance Observatory will take stock of the climate action of local governments. In particular, this webinar will explore the carbon accounting tools used by local governments to accurately measure their emissions and monitor their mitigation actions.
After a presentation of the results of the Local Action Report 2021 by Antoine Gillod, coordinator of the Climate Chance Observatory, three speakers will share their experience and describe the carbon accounting and monitoring instruments they implement in European cities and worldwide.
