Opening plenary – Mobility and climate: towards new governance and financing?
Pitch
The objective of this session is to introduce the four main themes of the conference and to explore in greater depth the challenges and lessons learned from governance and financing systems for sustainable urban mobility in Global South countries. The session will also highlight the diversity of situations, the importance of context (cultural, historical, political, social, economic, etc.) and the key success factors that enable governance systems to function effectively and generate sustainable progress, including in addressing climate challenges.
