EKONEA
Neede has positioned itself as a key player in supporting Mediterranean regions and stakeholders in meeting the challenges posed by climate change and the loss of biodiversity.

An initiative of Neede.
Overview of the project

EKONEA is a programme in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region that provides training for careers in the ecological transition. Supported by GIP FIPAN, NEEDE and CFAI Provence, it adapts and creates sustainable training courses for all audiences. The project also aims to extend into the Mediterranean with European support.
As a resource and support centre for environmental transition professions, EKONEA aims to develop the skills needed for environmental transition in professional training courses, in order to increase the expertise of new professionals and guide young people into green professions.
Ongoing research
