MONOMERIS

MONOMERIS provides a solution to the problem of recycling plastic waste, particularly that sent to incineration or landfill.

An initiative of MONOMERIS CHEMICALS / sas Crymirotech

Overview of the project

With FASEP funding, MONOMERIS is conducting a study of plastic waste in Mumbai, Calcutta and Panaji. Presented at the CITIIS trade fair, its solution has won over local authorities, in particular with a view to powering Mumbai’s electric buses using low-carbon energy.

Objective

Deploying our plastic waste recovery solutions in India, which is heavily impacted by this pollution.

Level of progress

Ongoing research

Project timeline

01/07/2025 au 31/12/2025

Quantitative results

MONOMERIS recycles 10,000 t/year of plastics into monomers for industry (circular ethylene) or gas for energy (cogeneration, hydrogen). An alternative to incineration and landfill.

Qualitative results

MONOMERIS has launched sales of its machines, manufactured in France (59), for installations in France and Europe. Studies are under way in India, Africa and Tunisia (plastics free zone) to adapt the solution to local conditions. Results expected by the end of the year.

Financing

We are financed by the https://team-planet.com/fr fund and the BPI
We have obtained €2.6 million in financing.
