IRIC's Environment Club is a network of students committed to protecting the environment. It is sponsored by the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF).

Overview of the project
This initiative is a project that aims to improve international cooperation between the countries of the Lake Chad Basin for concerted and more effective climate action in the first instance, and then in the second instance to strengthen the educational and training capacities of indigenous peoples and local communities on the climate issues that are crucial today, and finally to promote inclusive and participative multi-level governance for inclusive climate policies. The Lake Chad Basin is extremely threatened and on the brink of certain extinction if nothing is done.
