Overview of the project

Farm – Promoting Waste for Food and Livelihood Security seeks to engage farmers to get involve in vegetable cultivation use waste to prepare co – compost, and use this to fertilize their farms. This is to limit their use of chemical to cultivate vegetables.

Objective

The aim of WUZDA organisation is to assist farmers as they contribute to reducing chemical pollution through organic agricultural practices

Permanent farm land acquired and a donor prepared to provide funds to establish farms with secure fencing and bucket drip irrigation systems

Qualitative results

Ninety (90) farmers’ and 8,954 indirect participants ready to assist in this project

Financing

This was finance through the resolve of WUZDA Ghana providing initiate funds to secure the farm lands for permanent cultivation organic vegetables
