Select Partnerships Committee (COPAR): Mobilization of science and policy for the governance of natural resources in Africa
The OSS is an international organization with an African focus. Its main role is to create and support partnerships to collectively address the challenges related to water resource management.

Overview of the project
The project strengthens regional cooperation in Africa on climate issues, through data sharing, awareness-raising and advocacy. It promotes the protection of ecosystems, encourages debate on land degradation and steers the debate towards concrete solutions.
Mobilising the international scientific and political community around the crucial issues of sustainable land management, adaptation to climate change and the governance of natural resources in Africa.

Strategic and financial partnership agreement between Agence Française de Développement (AFD) and the Sahara and Sahel Observatory (OSS).
