LA GUILDE SABLE VERT is an association set up in 1996, one of whose aims is to support the deployment of biosourced mortars and concretes in their various applications.
Overview of the project
The NG2B project aims to standardise the plant-based aggregates used in biosourced concrete. In the absence of a standards framework, it is proposing a common benchmark based on technical and environmental data. A pre-standard has been drawn up, and an experimental standard is underway.

The programme has defined a reference system for characterising plant-based aggregates, which will form the basis of a future European standard. The aim is to facilitate the use of biosourced concretes, which reduce emissions and improve summer comfort.
