Transforming apple waste that pollutes the water table

This project focuses mainly on picking up apples as when they fall in big quantities from trees, they have a negative impact on the water table and can even cause illnesses linked to rot and the unpleasant smells.

An initiative of "Association Optimiste Maroc et Coopérative Pomme Midelt"

Overview of the project

Midelt and the region and renowned for apple production, this being said, over 50% of apples end up wasted, thrown into nature or at the foot of the trees.

This is a real problem because it causes a great negative impact on the water table and can even lead to illnesses linked to rot and the unpleasant smell that comes from the apples.

With the help and support and a cooperative from Midelt in charge of picking up the apples, the project should take shape depending on the arrival of the grinding, kneading and packaging machines.
