Action for the dignity and livelihoods of migrants

Green touch is a sustainable development association under Cameroonian law that works to bring about sustainable growth for local communities. Primarily the most vulnerable populations.

An initiative of GreenTouch

Overview of the project

Green Touch is initiating the Dignity and Livelihoods project to help migrants take up environmentally-friendly activities (sustainable agriculture) and reduce deforestation linked to coal production. The project raises awareness of climate change, promotes sustainable alternatives and prevents tensions over access to land.

Objective

The aim is to strengthen cohesion and peace between migrants and local populations by strategically reinforcing people's understanding of climate change and the ecological transition.
