Minimizing emissions of CO2 & air pollutants generated by city traffic thanks to smarter mobility management

An initiative of LACROIX Group

Overview of the project

This is the world’s first solution to regulate the type of city users to favor mobility in order to minimize air pollution. This is done thanks to a unique blend of sensors, AI, automatic decision and supported by a participatory approach to stimulate pro-environmental behaviors. The solutions is a dynamic local traffic management with air pollution monitoring using pre-defined mobility strategies and citizen involvement to stimulate environmental-friendly behavior.

It is using a combination of real-time pollution monitoring and forecast, real-time traffic monitoring, diverse artificial intelligence (AI), human intelligence and real-time traffic micro-regulation (local traffic management). Using a participative approach stimulates pro-environmental behavior that ensures sustainable change.

Adopting and scaling up this solution is easy since it is a simple upgrade of existing infrastructure and it can be deployed gradually while initiating sustainable change. We aim to achieve about 15% reduction of air pollution due to mobility and more than 30% of peaks pollution.

Objective

Reconcile clean air and mobility for all by reducing air pollution by 30% while encouraging environmentally-friendly behavior
