PROJECT TO INSTALL A PHOTOVOLTAIC MICROPOWER STATION FOR BEETLES AND AGRICULTURE IN THE 3 REGIONS OF CHAD
GUINNAOU is a non-governmental organisation working for sustainable development, particularly for vulnerable people. Strengthening their autonomy and material capacities

Overview of the project
This project to install renewable energy sources is part of the Chadian government’s policy to promote energy transition and improve living conditions.
In Chad, food insecurity affects almost 2.4 million people, including around 430,000 in a severe situation. Chronic poverty, malnutrition and stunted growth affect a large proportion of the population, particularly children.
The situation has worsened with the arrival of more than 700,000 people displaced by conflicts in neighbouring countries, putting further pressure on local resources and humanitarian needs.
The main objective of the project is to support the Chadian government, and more specifically the Ministry of the Environment and Health, in its efforts to ensure the protection of the environment and biodiversity as well as the human health of the Chadian population, and in particular the population living in rural areas, and to give them easier access to healthcare and agriculture.

21/05/2025
Poverty is reduced at household level, women’s and children’s health is improved, the level of education of rural women and young people is raised, the region is developing at an accelerated pace, and the rural exodus is curbed.
We are looking for funding to implement this innovative project, which can give the Chadian population an opportunity to fight climate change in their various regions.
