Overview of the project

The project is strengthening the climate resilience of communities through studies, the construction of infrastructure (dykes, basins, drainage), warning systems, awareness-raising initiatives and support for research into sustainable adaptation solutions.

Objective

The aim of the project is to make Cameroon's towns and cities more resilient to climate risks by strengthening urban infrastructure, improving water resource management and encouraging housing adaptation.

Qualitative results

The project aims to reduce the vulnerability of urban populations to the effects of climate change, strengthen the resilience of cities, improve water and infrastructure management, and raise public awareness of climate issues.

Financing

The project will be financed by the partners identified and up to 10% by the municipalities benefiting from the project.
